I am Daune Cardenas, PYDC Chief Executive Officer, and an enrolled Pascua Yaqui Tribal Member. As PYDC CEO, I am committed to employing our community members and bringing hope for a brighter future by helping create industries where our people can flourish.

I have worked for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and its casino for over a decade and owned several small businesses over the years. Thanks to the support of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe I earned my Juris Doctor degree (law) and Bachelor’s in Business Administration. My dedication to the collective goal of PYDC and the Pascua Yaqui Tribe comes from my gratitude to my Tribe and my determination to help make a positive and lasting effect on our Tribal economy.
